Project Overview:

Sustainful was created from a nutritionist’s vision to bring her services online and build a brand that reflects a balanced, approachable attitude to wellness. The goal was to develop a fresh visual identity that felt modern, friendly, and trustworthy while supporting the brand’s digital presence.

The Challenge:

The challenge was to create a brand that communicated professionalism and credibility while still feeling warm and accessible. The identity needed to work across multiple touchpoints including digital platforms, educational content, and social media, while visually representing the brand’s focus on sustainable and mindful nutrition.

Role & Process

I led the design of the brand identity from concept to execution. The process included developing the logo, defining the visual language, and creating supporting design elements that could be applied consistently across different platforms.

To expand the identity system, I designed a set of custom icon illustrations that represent the brand’s core values, services and revolve around vegetables which are a very important part of a strong diet.

These icons were later used to create a repeating pattern that adds visual character and flexibility to the brand.

The icon set also incorporates the hoja de chaya, a plant native to Yucatán, as a subtle nod to the nutritionist’s hometown of Mérida. It is also a highly nutritious super-green. This detail helped bring a personal and cultural element into the visual identity.
